The vision is for churches to adopt local WJCC Schools and become a source of encouragement and a facilitator of resources. Two local churches have recently teamed up to begin the initiative at James Blair Middle school. We want to affirm the wonderful support and service being given by several other community groups.

We invite you to join us every Friday from 12 PM - 1 PM for a time of fellowship, inspiration and prayer for our community. This is what we are praying for!

Food Distribution.jpg

Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church has graciously been receiving USDA food deliveries twice a week, and transferring boxes of food to churches, non-profits, and individuals to distribute. They can use more volunteer help in transferring food from pallets into vehicles that have been coming to distribute food into the community. A USDA delivery truck arrives at approximately 8:00 AM Saturday morning, and on Tuesday, typically two trucks have been coming – one roughly at 8:00 AM, and one roughly at 10:00AM, Volunteers can come help at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church 4002 Ironbound Rd., Williamsburg.
